The box is a rugged weatherproof enclosure that is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. Constructed from High-Impact, UV Resistant Polycarbonate material that provides superior durability to impacts and ease of modification while maintaining minimum weight. It is well suited for high temperature or corrosive environments. The included wall mount brackets come uninstalled and bagged with their hardware inside of the enclosure. Once the brackets are installed the enclosure can be mounted directly to any flat wall surface provided proper screws are used into secure studs. The brackets, once installed, also allow you to use compatible HGX-PMT pole mount kits to mount to a variety of pole diameters. The lid features a Stainless Steel piano style hinge pin system that allows for quick removal & can be reattached just as quickly for maximum access and flexibility to install equipment. The enclosure comes with four Non-Metallic locking latches, two on the side and one each at the top and bottom of the lid to provide a tight NEMA Type 6P/ IP68 rated* seal. The lid includes a padlock eye allowing you to secure the enclosure from tampering or unauthorized access. The included Rail Kit come uninstalled and bagged with its hardware inside of the enclosure. Once the rail kit is installed it provides more mounting options to install a front swing plate, side plates as well as the standard back plate. The rail kit also allows you to use a variety of additional accessories. The enclosure comes in a Dark Gray (Pantone 422C) The HGX-PMT series of pole mounting kits allow the populated enclosure to be securely mounted to a variety of different size poles. Compatible versions include HGX-PMT39, HGX-PMT40, HGX-PMT41, HGX-PMT42 (sold separately) Mounting standoffs inside the enclosure can be used to install backplates. The IXP-C2628 series 10gig ix Industrial connectors are next generation Ethernet plugs that are 75% smaller than a typical RJ45. This allows for parallel 10mm pitch mounting which is ideal for daisy-chaining and connector dense applications. They have durable metal shells with high EMC resistance, a robust rating of 5,000 mating cycles and up to 10gigbit through-put for Category 6a or 7 use. High resistance to vibration and motion along with a lockdown pins contribute to a 25N disengage force which allows ix connectors to function in spaces where a standard RJ45 would fail. IXP-C2426-A is a crimp type ix Industrial plug/male with A type keying. It can be terminated to wire gauges in the of range of 26 to 28AWG. The ix Industrial connectors meet IEC 61076-3-124 standards and are recognized as an official Machine Vision connector. 10g throughput will handle up to Category 6a or 7 applications and is backwards compatible with Category 5e and Category 6 use. Hand tool HT-IXP is recommended to crimp both the cable clamp and IDC contacts on the IXP-C series. ix Industrial connectors are idea for use in industrial environments as their small, durable and robust form factor along with high-speed transmission and PoE properties contribute to smart manufacturing and equipment evolution beyond RJ45. IXP and IXJ ix plugs and jacks available at L-com include connectors in both solder and crimp style as well as PCB mount capable receptacles in upright, horizontal and vertical right angle orientations.
